Tidal Clay explores the meeting point between water and earth where movement presses into matter and leaves its mark. The red and clay tones feel dense, layered, and weighted, as though saturated by tide.

Each square holds a variation of force dragged pigment, softened edges, pooled depth. The repetition suggests structure, but the brushwork resists uniformity. Like emotion under pressure, it spreads, compresses, and settles in different ways.

The piece reflects moments when feeling doesn’t flow cleanly when it thickens, warms, and holds heat before gradually releasing. A tide that doesn’t crash, but reshapes.
