Those Who Stay

30 x 30 inch

Mixed media on canvas

This piece carries a lot of emotion for me. While creating it, I found myself slipping into my thoughts, much like I did with one of my earlier works, In My Circle.

Here, each form represents a connection: some bright and defined, others softer, fading, or drifting. It speaks to the people who’ve passed through our lives, the ones who’ve shaped us, and the ones we’ve quietly let go of. Life is always moving, always evolving, and naturally, so are the relationships within it. Some stay for a season, some for a moment, and then there are the rare few who remain with us forever.

This artwork is a reminder of all of them: the connections that came, the ones that left, and the ones that still hold a place in our lives.
